Fee transparency
One fee, shown before anyone pays
revel's fee is 6% of the ticket price plus ₦100 per paid ticket. It covers card and bank transfer processing, so the payment provider doesn't charge you anything on top.
Buyer pays: the fee is added at checkout as a service fee, itemised before they pay, and you keep the full ticket price.
You absorb it: buyers pay exactly the ticket price, and the fee comes off your earnings.

Questions about pricing
Do free events cost anything?
No. Free events and free tickets have no fee, however many you create. We may limit accounts that misuse free events, for example to send spam.How does the fee on paid tickets work?
Each paid ticket has a fee of 6% of the ticket price plus ₦100, with the percentage rounded to the nearest naira. A ₦5,000 ticket has a ₦400 fee. That covers payment processing too, so there's no second charge from the payment provider.Who pays the fee?
You choose for each ticket type. If buyers pay it, it's added at checkout as a service fee, shown before they pay, and you keep the full ticket price. If you absorb it, buyers pay the ticket price and the fee comes off your earnings.Can I offer discount codes?
Yes, free on every plan. Create codes from your event's Discounts tab: a percentage or a fixed amount off, for all paid tickets or just some, with optional dates and a usage limit. The discount comes off the ticket price; the service fee stays as it is at full price. A 100% code makes the ticket itself free, and buyers still pay the service fee if you've chosen that they pay it. Share a link with the code already filled in by adding ?code=YOURCODE to your checkout link.When do I get paid?
Your earnings are added to your revel wallet as soon as each sale is confirmed. You can request a withdrawal to your Nigerian bank account from your available balance. We review withdrawals before paying them out.What happens with refunds?
If an event is cancelled, buyers get the ticket price back. The service fee covers revel's platform and payment processing and is non-refundable. Other refunds follow the event's own policy. The details are in our refund terms.Can prices change for an event I've already set up?
No. Each ticket keeps the fee that applied when you created it. If our pricing changes, it only applies to tickets created afterwards, and we'll tell you before it happens.Do I need a subscription?
No. There's no subscription and no setup fee. You only pay when you sell a paid ticket.I sell a lot of tickets. Can we agree a different rate?
